This is a handy tool to cut the openings for boxed corners in bag making. Simply position along your seam lines and cut using a 45mm rotary cutter.
3D printed from PLA plastic and are 1/8" thick - the same as most quilting rulers.
This template measures 6" x 10-1/2" and has cutting slits for your rotary blade to travel in. Similar in function to a strip cutting ruler. There are 8 labeled square cutout slits for easy and accurate cutting. Sizes for 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3", 3-1/2" and 4".
The cutting slits cross at the meeting point to allow for the curvature of the rotary blade. This allows for the cut ends to meet without having to snip at all.
"T" shaped cutouts along the edges allow a visual reference to align the fabric. The seam line should be at the bottom of the cross of the T on both edges.
